To promote and study and application of information security management, computer forensics and other related information assurance topics. This center will bring together faculty from related disciplines with government and industry leaders for the purposes of research, curriculum development, training and awareness.

The iASM Center is training 2 teams for this competition: Forensics and Systems Analysis. The Information Technology Competition invites talented students from various schools around the Southern California region to compete in one of four business cases by providing a solution to the case and presenting it to judges on the day of the competition.
Cases to compete in include:
- Business Systems Analysis
- Computer Forensics
- Web Application Development
- Telecommunications
For each case, there is a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize of $1000, $500, and $250.
This competition gives students the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills in front of industry professionals creating an experience that helps students prepare for the corporate business world, develop their professional network, and increase their knowledge of the Information Technology field.
